BELOW A LITTLE MENTION ON THE PREPARATION OF "OUR" LARD:
We rub the marble box with garlic, to moderate its permeability and to flavor the product; on the bottom it puts salt, pepper and various herbs (last rosemary, sage and garlic). Above the smells it puts the pork lard and covered with spices and again with garlic, rosemary and sage. Alternating layers of lard and smells (the thickness of a centimeter and a half) until the box is full. It is closed with a lid and after a week covering it with a brine of salt and water and closes again. After six months can be consumed: the food into very thin slices of toasted bread.Try it also on pizza.
